Why Study in PSB Singapore

As one of Singapore’s leading private education institutions with a 50-year heritage of producing industry-ready graduates, we are committed to defining our identity as an Academy of the Future with the support of our partners in academia and industry. Our spaces and practice-based pedagogy strongly steeped in real-world experiences means our diverse community of students can expect a teaching, learning and networking environment that will enable them to be Future Makers—active innovators and contributors to society.

Though we are a young institution, we were one of Singapore's first productivity champions - starting out as a small unit in the government's productivity and standards board. Now, we are an international network of colleges that work with leading universities and quality education partners, to offer our students transnational education opportunities. We now serve students from over 50 nationalities - many of whom can now choose to study a diploma in their hometown, progress to an undergraduate degree in Singapore, tackle courses offered by internationally-recognised certification providers like IMA, EC-Council, Barca Innovation Hub, and have the option of studying in our university partners' home campuses in Australia and the UK.

One of the best things you can learn from life on campus, beyond the classroom, is cultural fluency and networking skills—so you can stand out as a truly global graduate. With trips abroad, industry talks and even alumni reunions across the region held each year, an education here will broaden your perspectives, and perhaps inspire you to kick off your career in another country.

Your employability really matters to us, which is why we offer you career services in and out of your faculty. We provide a host of resources as well as workshops and career fairs during your time with us to get you prepared for your first job or get into a conversation about your next promotion. In 2018, greater than 8 in 10 graduates found employment within six months of graduation; and close to 6 in 10 graduates said their course enhanced workforce skills (GES 2018).

On top of our well-established teaching pedagogies developed in consultation with our leading university partners, we aim to stay relevant by keeping our network of industry partners in close consultation. That is why we have our Academic Advisory Panels for each School, with veteran professionals who are able to help keep our programmes current, so students are trained in skills that are in demand. We are also proud to host CollabX, a multi-series event designed to be a platform for creating opportunities through learning, sharing and networking. This series of talks is open to the public, alumni and current students, and aims to expose them to the future of the jobs they are headed for, and focus on key skills and talents they will need to hone as they develop their careers here and in the region.
